We are situated right on the border of Surrey, Sussex, and Kent. There are lovely local pubs and shops within a short drive in Lingfield Villiage. Lingfield is just a five-minute drive or around a 30-minute walk along the pavement. There are two routes to The Wiremill on the Lake pub/restaurant: either a ten-minute walk or a thirty-minute walk across the fields.

1. British Wildlife Centre: It is practically our neighbour—just a short footpath walk away. 2. Lingfield Park Racecourse: Great for a day out. 3. London Temple: A stunning site with beautiful public gardens. 4. Day Trips: We are within an hour of both London and Brighton if you fancy a city day or a beach day.

Absolutely. We love dogs at Long Acres. We just ask that they are kept on a lead at all times and under strict supervision. Please be mindful of other guests and clean up after your pet immediately.

We allow BBQs and fire pits (that do not drop ash directly on the grass) are permitted, but they must be at least 18 inches off the ground (i.e. the legs must be at least 18 inches high). N.B: In periods of drought Long Acres reserves the right to withdraw permission for fire pits and BBQs.

We encourage you to disconnect and enjoy the Surrey countryside! However, 4G signal is generally good in the area if you need to stay in touch with the real world.

We are a family-run site focused on relaxation. We ask for quiet hours in the evenings, from 10:00pm - 08:00am so everyone can enjoy the peace of the countryside. If you are looking for a loud party site, we might not be the best fit! We are also 10 miles from Gatwick airport so some plane noise is to be expected.

All our units (Pods, Bell Tents, Shepherd's Hut, and Lodges) come with freshly laundered bedding included in the price. No need to lug your duvet with you! They also all feature electricity, heating, a kettle, and a counter top fridge/mini-fridge. Woodmans Lodge, Tree House and Beach Shack all have an en-suite toilet and shower. • Note: The Cedar, Pathfinder, Higgledy Piggledy, Shepherd's Hut, and Bell Tents share our clean, central facilities block.

Yes. While we provide the bed and the kettle, we do not provide crockery, cutlery, or pots and pans. Please pack your camping kitchen box!

Great news for 2025! We have upgraded several units. The Tree House, Woodmans Lodge, and The Beach Shack now include their own private toilet and shower. • Note: The Cedar, Pathfinder, Higgledy Piggledy, Shepherd's Hut, and Bell Tents share our clean, central facilities block.

Please avoid the Tree House, Woodmans Lodge, and Shepherd's Hut, as these have steep steps. We recommend looking at our ground-level pods like the Cedar or Pathfinder, but please call us to discuss your specific needs.

Our pitches in the Hayfield are generous! We allow for units up to 10 meters in length. If you have an extra-large American RV or a giant caravan, please drop us an email before booking just to be safe.

Yes. We have a mixture of Electric (10 amp) and Non-Electric grass pitches. Please make sure you select the correct option when booking. • Top Tip: Don't forget to bring your standard camping hook-up cable!

We love hosting groups, but we need to know in advance to ensure we can pitch you together. Please contact us with your group size and requirements before you book online.

We know travel doesn't always go to plan. If you think you will arrive outside of Reception hours, please call us on 01342 833 205 as early as possible so we can arrange your check-in. Note that calls outside hours divert to an emergency line that cannot access the booking system, so please call ahead!

We have plenty of parking. For Glamping guests, we have designated parking areas near the Hayfield. For campers in the Hayfield, you can generally park next to your pitch (ground conditions permitting).
